Dinosaur Jr. @ the Worcester Artist Group 8/17/91 54k 331k

I not only created the poster for this show but ran the whole event as well. It was a blast, we had about 500 people going nutz to the stylings of j and his gang. I believe within the next couple of weeks after this show, Dinoaur Jr. was in England at the Reading Festival chronicled in the film "1991 The Year Punk Broke"

Morphine, Concussion Ensemble, Scarce @ The Wang Center 4/15/91 30k 76k

You can put this one in the pile marked "Shows that never happened" This would have been a great show. Unforeseen difficulties caused this bad boy to be canceled. The poster happened though and it's one of my favorites. I have maybe 3 or 4 posters like this where the poster happened but the show didn't.

Bonehead: promotional piece 1995 66k 264k

Bonehead was phenomenal band from Worcester, MA. They had an intense hard core hip hop metal type thang going on. But like so many others they could not keep it going. This is one of my best pieces of black and white work to date.

Overcast, Plaid Gravy,Confused Society, Big Joke 11/1/91 33k 122k

Some great local bands from Worcester, MA got together for this post Halloween bash. A very different type approach to the poster for me. I arranged the design in a diamond shape. I always really loved the effect.

Digger, Voodoo Dolls @ the Rat 32k 143k

Digger was Chucky White's band. I did a few posters for them, but this one is my favorite. It's an ode to Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's Rat Fink tm. Having the show take place at a club called the Rat seemed like a good time to bust out a grimey rat hang'n in a trash can. Ya see the Rat formally called the Rathskellar is in Kenmore Sq. in Boston. If you know anything about Kenmore Square, then you know it probably has the highest population of rats in the city. I used to work in a pizza joint in Kenmore Sq. Taking the trash out at night was always an experience! In the fall of 96 Kenmore Square was flooded. A virtual rat soup.

Allison D. @ Green St. Station 42k 138k 11/13/88

Allison D. was another band of Chuck's. This one can go in the pile of shows that never happened either. This is one of my favorites from the early days.

Shop Therapy: promotional piece 1997: 95k 188k

The full color illustration that was created for the Shop Therapy/ Joey Mars calendar. If ya got a big screen and the juice, I reccomend the larger file here. You won't be dissapointed. This one is good and tweaked.

T-Shirts:

Zidzoii 23k 113k

This t-shirt is the show stopper. I always get great feedback when I wear this one out on the town. It's just so wacked out and exciting. Printed on an all over press, it has the look of a full body tattoo with all these crazy cartoon characters hanging out in some virtual garden of eden. Printed with super soft water based inks, the comfort level is very high. The name comes from a derivative of one of my first cartoon characters called Zid from Zoid, and I always liked words that have a double i in them (ie Hawaii)

Dragon Dream 19k 122k

Cyberspace is the theme of this uniquely printed design. A red dragon is flanked by a cat jacking in as a cyborg plant is activated releasing flying lips with skeleton heads all held together by a magic border. Printed on a black shirt with diffusion ink it's the softest feel you have ever experience with inks on dark fabric. No build up of ink here as the inks bleach out the dark fabric and create vibrant colors along the way.

Paleon 43k 105k

This design has evolved into my signature piece. A fish floats by a cactus and giant mushrooms as a happy reptile scoots on by. The back has more whimsical characters playing about. Is it under water or are the fish flying?

Moodskull 10k 44k

A wigged out skull thrashes about as it's eyeballs twirl in a never ending vortex of madness. I call it mood skull because I feel it changes with the mood of the viewer. Sometimes it looks all bad and scary and other times it looks down right pathetic.

Snowboard Follies 12k 58k

A dragon shreds as a skeleton catches big air in this winter wonderland of freaks and fun

Looking For Mr. Plake 16k 66k

This T-shirt was commissioned by K-2 Ski Co. for the extreme skier Glen Plake. It pictures him sailing off a ledge mohawk ripping in the wind. A plethora of mountain animals look on in amazement at the talented K-2 pro.

Aerosmith 81k

I was commissioned by the band and Giant Merchandise to create an all over print t-shirt that had the same feel as Zidzoii. It was sold on the "Get A Grip Tour" in the states as well as retail locations throughout the world. I went to a concert, as a guest of the band, and it was hilarious to see hundreds of people walking around with the shirt on pointing at the different characters.

Enchanted Rainforest 44k 103k

A cartoon representation of the rain forest seemed like a fun project and it was. A dancing cat, various bugs, slugs and funky shrooms dot the floor. Birds, monkeys and aliens inhabit the higher elevations.

Stickers:

One of my favorite forums for my art has to be stickers. There so much fun, they don't cost much. They are even suitable for framing. I have archived a bunch of my favorites below.

The Garden 26k 100k

About as much lunacy as you can pack into a 5" sticker.

Merlin the Magic Mushroom 10k 21k

A smile'n shroom adorned in a wizard hat. It's one of my oldest repeating characters.

Party Frog 19k 75k

A bug'd out frog sits a top a purple mushroom holding a string of balloons as the sun shines on

Skateboard Freak 10k 24k

A cyclops clutches his board as his dreads wave in the breeze

Spaceship 8k 15k

An alien is at the helm of this futuristic cyborg aircraft

Fractal Moon 17k 70k

A crescent skull moon is in a trance as an emerging fractal spreads it's chaos

Fractal Sun 15k 62k

A smile'n sun beams out good vibes surrounded by the sky like fractal

Moodskull 9k 23k

Sick, wacked , pathetic, crazy, it's all up to you

Paleon 16k 69k

A groovy fish floats by a cactus and a couple of huge shrooms surrounded by hieroglyphics

Scream'n Skull 14k 87k

Death never looked so happy

Racing Skull 6k 18k

A racing checkerboard surrounds a skull and crossbones back dropped against a fiery blaze

Sister Alien a.k.a. Galaxy Girl 6k 13k

A flower on her dress a dragon puppet in her hand and she's ready to launch

What's It Going To Be 5k 13k

An eightball bomb in one hand and a dragon puppet on the other and a yin yang on his chest

Cyclops 7k 13k

A shroom in one hand a dragon puppet on the other and a star on his chest

Trashed 13k 34k

A freaked out cat pokes it's head from a garbage can all twitched and tweaked
