This poster was created in the summer of 1991 for The Priviet Vodka Music Series. Six fantastic nights of music featuring six up and comming bands all for six bucks a night at Citi Club, now Avalon. I did a poster for each of the six Wednesdays. This poster chronicles the third Wednesday in the series. The guys from Green River were introducing their new band Pearl Jam to the country and scored the opening slot. This is one of the first posters known to have Pearl Jam on the bill. They had played a few shows under the name Mookey Blaylock, but this is the second known poster or flyer for a Pearl Jam appearance. This show took place on 4/10/91, I have found a flyer from 4/4/91 recently.... Great night of music with all the bands. 7 League Boots is one of my all time favorite Boston bands and The Lemonheads and Buffalo Tom were smoking that evening. All six posters were reproduced full page in the Boston Phoenix and there was an original run of 100 11"x17" posters in color copier format. I have printed a total of 6 editions. This a heavily bootlegged item so be careful when purchacing this poster from anyone shady......I have never sold one for more than $8.00 but have heard of these going for hundreds of dollars ...so be careful.....
